The International Crime Prevention Specialist (ICPS) program gives participants three-days of comprehensive crime prevention training which will provide students with comprehensive knowledge covering nineteen, key core areas. The following topics are covered during the three-day training: |

This training is open to anyone interested in learning more about crime prevention including crime prevention officers, crime prevention specialists, unit supervisors, volunteers, neighborhood watch coordinators, loss prevention managers and security professionals.
Successful candidates will earn the ICPS professional designation which they can place after their name.
Instructors:
All Instructors have attained the ICPS designation and are or have been practicing crime prevention specialist with exceptional presentation skills. There may also be instructors who have experience in a particular crime prevention topic.Yes. Students are given a 125 question test at the end of the class.
Students must achieve a passing grade of 80%. The majority of students complete the test satisfactorily.
No, annual or bi-annual testing is required for re-certification. Successful students will receive the ICPS designation from the ISCPP stating that you have demonstrated basic knowledge of crime prevention. Membership with the ISCPP is required to retain the designation.
