Frequently Asked Questions:
Is this a certification class? No, this is not a certification class. Once you pass the ICPS Test, you will receive the ICPS designation from the ISCPP stating you have demonstrated basic knowledge of crime prevention. If this was a certification class, it would require re-certification annually or bi-annually.
Is there a test at the end of the class and is it easy? Students who attend the training find the test to be challenging, but most people will complete the test satisfactorily. If you haven’t attended the training, most people find the test ranging from daunting to impossible.
What do I receive at the end of the class? A 300 page crime prevention resource book, a one-year membership to the ISCPP, and hopefully the ICPS designation.
