Established since 1990, International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners (ISCPP) has been awarding CPS as recognition to crime prevention practitioners around the world who possess in-depth knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the field of crime prevention. In year 2005, ISCPP released a completely new and updated International Crime Prevention Specialist Curriculum which was written by crime prevention professionals from all over the world. It is a comprehensive 500 pages of training and reference manual which includes 15 core subject lessons, 14 elective subjects and 7 resources chapters.
ICPS Training and Test is a 3 days intensive review of the ICPS Curriculum which prepares the participants to take the ICPS test at the end of the course. When the participants pass the ICPS Test, the ISCPP Board of Directors confers the designation “ICPS” which stands for International Crime Prevention Specialist. The participants can use the initials after their names (for example Mr. Derick Ding, ICPS) which is recognized internationally as a specialist in the field of crime prevention.
Time: Training will begin at 8:00 am and continue until 5:00 pm each day. Dress is business casual. Cost: The fee for the training includes the training, testing, 500+ page curriculum and one-year membership to the ISCPP. The cost is $325 (US). Class is limited to the first 30 registrants. Lunch will is not provided. Payment: Checks, money orders and purchase orders are accepted. Credit card payments are available on our website at www.iscpp.org. In this event a full refund will be made, should the participants opt to withdraw from the class. The trainer reserves the right to make any amendments in its program without giving prior notice. The ISCPP, Inc. can not be held liable for any consequence of force majeure including but not limited to severe weather, acts of Government, strikes, transport delays, unavailability of personnel due to illness. Cancellation Cancellation must be made in writing (e-mail) and only take effect on the date of receipt. Cancellation charges will be applied as follows: 0% – more than 20 working days before the training date. 50% – between 19 – 6 working days before the training date. 100% – less than 5 working days before the training date.
