The International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners (ISCPP) in cooperation with the Jacksonville State University (JSU) Office of Continuing Education is proud to be offering the three day International Crime Prevention Specialist Training culminating with the ICPS Test. 

The three day training will give attendees a solid foundation of crime prevention knowledge, a 300+ page crime prevention curriculum to use as a resource after the training, and excellent preparation for the ICPS Test. This course will give a crime prevention practitioner the basic foundations and resources in crime prevention to take into the field and teach crime prevention to the communities in which the practitioner is involved. 

This three day training will cover 16 core subjects:

✰Personal Safety 

✰Internet Safety 

✰Rural and Construction Site Crime Prevention

Who should attend? Anyone interested in learning more about crime prevention. This includes crime prevention officers, crime prevention specialists, unit supervisors, neighborhood watch coordinators and members, volunteers, loss prevention managers, patrol officers, and security specialists. 

Instructors: All Instructors have attained the ICPS designation and are or have been practicing crime prevention specialist with exceptional presentation skills. There may also be instructors who have experience in a particular crime prevention topic.

Cost: The fee for the training includes the training, testing, 300+ page curriculum and one-year membership to the ISCPP. The cost is $325 (US). Class is limited to the first 30 registrants. Lunch will be on your own each day.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be made in writing (e-mail) and only take effect on the date of receipt.

Cancellation charges will be applied as follows:
0% – more than 20 working days before the training date.
50% – between 19 – 6 working days before the training date.
100% – less than 5 working days before the training date.
